A little backstory here, I really love old photographs and I really loved Korra. I was thinking about the time period Korra is based in, and with the new technology it brought (such as cameras, newspapers, communication etc), wondered how it look like. Instead of documenting the history of the Four Nations through paintings and stories, we suddenly have photography and all that jazz (literally).
So I decided to start a whole series based around what photojournalism might have looked like around this era. However, this will be more of a technical venture for me rather than a 100% accurate to history one so forgive me if I use a little artistic license for some images than stick to what the technology provided at the time.
